Praise God from whom all blessings flow!

Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ from whom all blessings flow! Our hearts have been warmed and a bit overwhelmed with flood of email, notes and cards. Thank you for your faitfulness in praying for us.

The campus is buzzing with the arrival of students from all over the world who have come to GGBTS to train. They are here to learn in what I believe is the best preparation ground for Pastors, Missionaries and Evangelists. At GGBTS, our heritage reflects a consuming passion to spread the Gospel all over the world, and our students are catching the flames of vision - "To reach the unreached and tell the untold with Gospel of Jesus Christ."

This year in particular, I sensed a heighten spiritual atmosphere, a genuine desire to be filled by the Holy Spirit and a fierce hunger to pray. The first chapel this week was powerful as our President Dr. Jeff Iorg speak on the need to be filled with the Holy Spirit. We are gearing up and building a mighty army to go out and do whatever it takes to reach the ends of the earth with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The divine purpose God has given this institution has never been clearer or more urgent.

If the Gospel is your passion, you'll appreciate knowing that GGBTS is part of the training institution to train thousands of missionaries who are ministering in North America (presently, 5,000 missionaries) and around the world (presently, 5000+ International missionaries) with a budget of $288.9 million. In 2010 the IMB missionaries baptized 4,75,000 and 23,500 churches were planted. (www.sbcbaptistpress.org/bpnews.aspid=24324). GGBTS's future is filled with hope and promise. Together, we will not stop until we see the fulfilment of what God has called us to do.

The spiritual atmosphere at GGBTS is indeed charge! However, we need to continue to pray. Pray for me as I train and disciple these young men and women to become passionate follower of Jesus Christ. You do your part and I will do mine and together we can change the world. Amen!

Because of Christ and the Great Commission,

2nd Update From Mill Valley, CA.

Just returned from our staff retreat and one more time I can heartlily agree with David the psalmist when he reiterates the fact that "the Lord has done great things". I wish you could have been with me and experiences this unprecedented occasion. It was exciting to hear what the Lord has done in and through the ministry of Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary. When God is at work it is always exciting. President Jeff Iorg spoke on the need and the importance of being filled with the Holy Spirit. He challenged us to live daily in the prersence of God and be sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit. As we met individually and in groups, the hunger in many for God was stronger than ever. It was absolutely thrilling to hear our staffs share about what they plan to do for this coming school year. I feel more strongly than ever to hang around with group of people who deeply committed to the Great Commission. Fulfilling the Great Commission is what GGBTS was created to do and I am committed to do my part. I remind myself daily that if God is with us, who can be against us? I'm not alone in this conviction and I know together we can do great and mighty thing for the glory of God. With Christ and the Holy Spirit we can boldly say, YES WE CAN! Please join me in prayer as I ask the Lord to come and saturate our class room with the presence of the Holy Spirit. I thank God for each of you. May He continue to bless and keep you.

BRIEF UPDATE FROM MILL-VALLEY, CA

Dear Praying Friends:

Grace and peace to you all from God our Father and our Lord Jesus Christ! May the Holy Spirit be with you today and always. Thank you for your emails, letters and cards. Patsy and I certainly appreciate hearing from you. From comments of many of you we know that we were not mistaking the Holy Spirit's assurance from time to time throughout these two months that God's people somewhere were praying for us.

We are happy and settled in Mill-Valley, CA. [See the photo (i) view from our living room (ii) View from our dining room]Patsy is emerging to health and she is free from allergy medications and enjoying her life again. My job at GGBTS is wonderful and I am continually blessed. GGBTS is a graduate school committed to reach the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We are convinced that these are the days of the end time movement of the Holy Spirit sweeping across the land for the final thrust. The task is to train men and women to become committed follower of Christ and to fulfill the Great Commission both at home (North America) and abroad (International).

Please continue to pray for me and Patsy as we continue to serve the Lord in this new challenging situation. We recognize that we are fragile and unable to meet the need of the hour. With God's grace and anointing, we yearn to be 'God made' and 'God enabled'. May God continue to bless and use you as you touch the world with your intercession.

With love and prayers,

Dr. Prosperly B.Lyngdoh
